Article18 Network is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to training and capacity development for faith-based organisations and religious freedom advocates, facilitating access to and the flow of information in the online world and advocating freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) around the world.

Freedom of religion

or belief (FoRB) is guaranteed by Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), and Article 18 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). This freedom is fundamental to living in an open, tolerant and diverse society – where people can think, believe and subscribe to a multitude of views, religions and teachings.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Article18 Network is comprised of a group of Christian experts and a network of trainers that provide capacity development and training through accelerator programmes on documentation, research, and advocacy.

  • uphold and advocate for religious freedom
  • develop incident reporting capacity, 
  • learn how to document the violation of the right to FORB  
  • offer specific recommendations to policymakers
